12-Day Comfort Wildlife Safari and Zanzibar Beach Experience

Program of the Day: Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by one of our friendly, kind, experienced and very polite driver guides, after a short introduction about your safari, he will transfer you to Arusha for your overnight stays on your reserved hotel/lodge, waiting for your adventures to start on the following day.  Arusha is an important part of your northern Tanzanian safari and not just because of its position as a gateway to the safari parks of the country's north. With its dynamic street life and markets, fascinating museums and enticing street food, it's an exciting city that deserves exploring.

Program of the Day: After breakfast and a safari briefing, we will depart to Tarangire National Park for a game drive while carrying a lunch box. Here, you will enjoy the bush environment decorated with wild animals, giant baobab trees, bush savannah, and seasonal marshes, adding to the wonder of this nature reserve. After the game drive, we will depart to your accommodation for overnight stay and dinner. Wherever you go in Tarangire National Park, you’ll come across the park’s famous and larger-than-life baobab trees and elephants. These are the twin elements that give this park so much personality. There is, of course, so much more. We don’t just mean the huge populations of wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, baboons, vervet monkeys and zebras. Or the rugged landscape of rocky hills and rivers, swamps and savannah plains. You also have an excellent chance of seeing lions here – Tarangire is a real lion stronghold – and keep an eye out for leopards and cheetahs as well.

Program of the day: After having breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up at your lodge along with your picnic lunch boxes for a game drive. Once you arrive at the park, you can witness the stunning natural environment of acacia trees, shrubs, and magnificent landscapes. After a full-day game drive, guests can relax and enjoy a sumptuous meal before staying overnight at a lodge. Lake Manyara National Park will allow you to tick off so many unique safari highlights, including many that you just won’t find elsewhere. Unlike the elephants you’ll see in other parks, Lake Manyara’s inhabit dense forest – there’s nothing quite like your experience of an elephant suddenly emerging from behind the nearest tree. Also, you’re just as likely to see lions here draped along a branch high in a tree as down on the ground. And baboons. Lots of baboons. The views you’ll see here, too, persist in your memory long after you’ve returned home, thanks to the combination of lake, forest and sheer cliffs, all within just a few kilometres

Program of the day: After breakfast, we will depart for Southern Serengeti National Park for a wildlife game drive, bringing along lunch boxes. Then, we will have lunch at a suitable location inside the park and continue the game drive activity in the afternoon before reaching Tanzania Bush Camps – migration camp for the night. However, be ready to see resident predators, such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions, fulfilling their role in the circle of life. Many visitors fall in love with the Serengeti here in the south of the park. That's because the wildlife viewing is outstanding as the animals move across the golden grasslands that are so typical of the Serengeti. This landscape is perfect for cheetahs, and the rocky outcrops here allow spotting of lions and leopards. Experience classic safari scenery with acacia trees and savannah grasslands, as well as plenty of wildlife, when you visit the Central Serengeti.

Program of the day: After breakfast, we will depart for Central Serengeti National Park for a wildlife game drive, carrying boxed lunches. Then, we'll have lunch at a suitable location within the park and continue the game drive activity in the afternoon before reaching Kontik Central Serengeti Camps for an overnight stay.Return to the Central Serengeti to further explore this impressive place.

Expect big cats, elephants and giraffes in the Serengeti, and that’s just the start on a canvas of big-sky horizons, flat-topped acacias and beautiful grasslands.

Program of the Day: After breakfast, you depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater while carrying lunch boxes. After the picnic lunch, we will depart for the Maasai Villages for an authentic Cultural experience. Once the game drives and Cultural tour are complete, we will drive you back to your lodge to relax, have dinner, and stay overnight. You’ll learn why magical Ngorongoro is unlike anywhere else in Africa. Cloud forests encircle the crater rim, and the view out across the caldera of this former volcano – quite apart from the altitude – will leave you gasping for air. Your drive down a steep trail carries you onto the crater floor where a unique wildlife offering is added to the sheer beauty of the experience. You’ll share the sunken ecosystem of the crater floor with hyenas, lions, elephants, black rhinos and hippos. An ecosystem that has formed in the crater in the millennia since the volcano wrought its terrible fury upon the land. It could just be one of your best safari days ever.

Program of the day: After breakfast, spend some hours at the lodge for relaxation and leisure, if time allows, take a short tour of Karatu town for shopping before transferring to Arusha Airport. Your flight to Zanzibar will depart from Arusha Airport.

Our driver in Zanzibar will be waiting for you at Zanzibar Airport for your private transfer to your hotel in Stone Town. When you arrive on Zanzibar Island, you'll know immediately that it is a place like no other. Tourists from all over the world come here to chill out on some of Africa's most beautiful beaches and explore the surrounding coral reefs and islets. Another facet of the island is its characterful old Stone Town, whose handsome architecture recalls a time when Zanzibar was a wealthy centre of Indian Ocean trade and a major producer of cloves and other fine spices.

Enjoy exploring Zanzibar Island further. Enjoy historic architecture, spice-laden markets and a rich sense of history as you explore the moody alleys of Zanzibar's Stone Town.

Program of the Day: After breakfast, you will spend the day on a tour of Zanzibar's Stone Town with our local guide. You will also visit other interesting destinations here. Finally, we will transfer you to your beach hotel. Admire the narrow streets lined with many residential houses that preserve their original Swahili-Omani themes with exquisitely carved doorways, metal studs, overhanging balconies, and latticed windows. Due to the colonial presence and the many mosques commissioned by the olden Sultans of Zanzibar, you will see continental churches. Zanzibar Stone Town is a fascinating place to visit. A Unesco World Heritage Site, this absorbing port town was once the hub of a trade network that extended across the Indian Ocean to Persia, India and beyond. Stone Town's rich and varied pedigree is reflected in the distinctive architecture of the multi-story coral stone houses that line its alleys, as well as the cosmopolitan feel of the local Swahili culture.

Program of the Day: These two days are spent in Zanzibar at your leisure. Use your time to relax on the beach and at the resort. Discover Zanzibar's best beaches, each offering spectacular sunsets, palm-fringed beaches, turquoise waters, white sand, and colourful coral reefs. You get the best of both worlds at Nungwi. There's a beautiful beach and Zanzibar's best sunsets, as well as a picturesque fleet of fishing boats and a turtle conservation project.

Program of the Day: Enjoy the last few hours before you depart from the resort. We will pick you up at the resort and transfer you to Zanzibar Airport ready for your departure back home or to another destination, where our service ends. All good things must come to an end, and your time with us on safari in Tanzania will now draw to a close. We're sure that you've had a wonderful time.
